I mean, good job?? I guess it’s a good thing for those families living at or below 150% of the federal poverty line. The problem for me is the federal poverty level and why is it okay to live below it? The federal poverty level for a family of four in 2024 is $31,200. This family consists of two adults and two children! How can a family survive at these levels? I’m sure that there are a some cities and towns where a family can at this level, but I am sure that it’s more than a struggle in New York City.
